Their frequency response is atrocious and unexcusable. Mix on speakers that are anechoically flat. No ifs, ands or buts. If your mix sounds good on flat speakers. It sounds good. Period

One of the greatest songs ever, Stevie may not be the greatest drummer to live but he was THE Perfect drummer for this... the things that happen when the singer, keyboardist and drummer share a brain. There is pocket and there vulcan mind meld synchronicity. Good cover... finally, great flexability of input options in that interface.

I've always found recording acoustic guitar really easy to do. 🤷 But since I went from tape to digital earlier this year, finally, I'm having trouble getting a good bass guitar mix for some reason.

Do yourselves a favour and go and listen to Minami, "Crying For Rain" and " Hollowness" are a good place to begin. It is possible to have that "wistfully fragile " delivery without the 10,000 tik tok female artists clichés. It can be the best mix in the world, if you've heard it umpteen times before, in the end, what's the point? I'm not someone who sits on their backside and pontificates either. Nothing thrills me more than discovering a new talent, this is generically thoroughly decent and sorry, that doesn't float my boat.

There is a reason why Sweetwater is no longer selling Antelope audio. There is also no reason to get locked into proprietary "accelerated" plugins these days. Get an Mx MacbookPro, and your DAW will have all the plugins you need, and DSP capacity to run them.
